    mjwoznyThe “push press” can be considered a more intense exercise. Personally, I like starting with a strict OH press and then progressing to a push press when appropriate.Obviously, when you’re transferring the momentum from your lower body to the upper, you can typically push more weight above your head.I really like using the push-press to get the bar over the head, and then lowering it under control to get some sort of eccentric stress. Then, resetting yourself before the next rep.
